If you need a little help getting into the Holiday spirit, this is an excellent catalyst.
The performances both from the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Chorus is spectacular. This is an outstanding CD. I was looking for a good Christmas CD, found this, and now have a great Christmas CD. The music just surrounds you with warmth and Christmas spirit. There is no other Christmas CD to compare with this except, of course, Handel's Messiah.
This is a classic Christmas CD. When I played it on the CD player in the living room for the first time, my 15-year-old son came up the stairs and said it was very nice and he really enjoyed it. It is a lovely and inspirational CD. Merry Christmas.
This CD, is fabulous. I have seen The Philadelphia Orchestra perform, and the CD is as good as they are in person.
This music represents what Christmas joy is all about,the thrill of old favorites presented in top quality form. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
